Sky Sports understands former Everton ace Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is hoping to win a move back to England this summer.
Bilyaletdinov is currently back playing in his native Russia with Spartak Moscow after a two-and-a-half year spell at Goodison Park.
The 29-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Anzhi Makhachkala after a change in management at Spartak saw him fall out of favour.
The winger scored two goals in 11 appearances for Anzhi and impressed during his loan stint at the club.
Bilyaletdinov, who cost Everton £9million when he joined them in the summer of 2009, is thought to be available for a nominal fee of £1.5million this summer as Spartak are willing to listen to offers for him.
A number of Premier League and top Championship sides are understood to be keeping tabs on Bilyaletdinov's situation and the player would be willing to return to England.
"I enjoyed my time at Everton and I would be willing to return to England and play for the right club," Bilyaletdinov told Sky Sports.
Bilyaletdinov's representative, Jamie Holsgrove, confirmed he was speaking to several clubs about a deal for the Russian international.
"Diniyar is a proven player having played at the highest level throughout his career, together with a strong demand for an experienced left footer, a deal should be completed quickly " Holsgrove told Sky Sports.
"Spartak are willing to listen to offers for him and there is interest in England and elsewhere across Europe."
