Miller time for Shrews

Sheffield United striker Shaun Miller has joined Shrewsbury on loan for the rest of the season.

Fellow Blades pair Callum McFadzean and Elliott Whitehouse have also gone out on loan, joining up with Burton and Alfreton respectively. Miller, who began his career at Crewe, joined the Blades in the summer of 2012 but damaged knee ligaments last season and has been in and out of the first-team picture at Bramall Lane. "Shaun has good experience at this level and is just what we've been looking for to add to our forward line," Shrews boss Mike Jackson told the club's official website. "He picked up an injury that kept him out at the start of the season but has been involved at Sheffield this season and scored their winner in their FA Cup game at Fulham. "He has played a lot of games during his time at Crewe and at Sheffield United, he can score goals but also can create them. "It's a real boost to have someone of Shaun's calibre in the squad for these important last games."
