Northampton's on-loan midfielder Kane Ferdinand has been recalled by parent club Peterborough.
Ferdinand joined Town on a month-long deal at the end of October which included an option to recall the 21-year-old after the first 28 days. Posh, who have lost their last five League One matches, have now activated that option and Ferdinand has returned to London Road in time for Saturday's clash at home to fellow promotion chasers Wolves. Ferdinand had started each of Northampton's five matches since his arrival. A statement from the Cobblers read: "Northampton Town would like to thank Kane for his efforts at Sixfields and wish him well for the future."
