Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are weighing up moves for former Aldershot man Scott Donnelly in January.
Donnelly is currently plying his trade at Conference South side Farnborough after leaving Newport County in the summer.
The attacking midfielder has impressed at Farnborough, scoring nine goals in 13 games, and his performances have not gone unnoticed higher up the football pyramid.
Donnelly is with Farnborough on a non-contract basis and they are unlikely to stand in his way if an offer from the Football League comes his way.
The 25-year-old, who was signed by Swansea from Aldershot in 2010, is keen to play at the highest level possible and is open to offers when the transfer window reopens in January.
