Sky Sports understands Charlton have agreed a deal to sign former Crystal Palace defender Kadell Daniel.
Daniel arrives at The Valley on a free transfer after leaving Palace earlier this summer.
The 19-year-old came through the ranks at Palace, but he turned down the offer of extending his contract at Selhurst Park.
A number of Championship and League One clubs are believed to have expressed an interest in Daniel, but the full-back has decided to join Charlton.
Daniel has signed a deal until the end of the season, with the option of another year, and the youngster feels he can progress under the stewardship of Charlton boss Chris Powell and newly-appointed Under 21s coach Jason Euell.
