Sky Sports understand that Brentford are set to sign defender Darren Ward from League One rivals Swindon Town.
The 34-year-old only moved to the Robins last summer in a loan deal from Championship side Millwall.
That switch was made permanent in January, with the defender signing an 18-month contract at the County Ground.
Ward could now be on the move again with Brentford, who beat Swindon in last season's play-off semi-finals, reportedly close to finalising a deal.
Veteran Ward began his career at Watford and has taken in spells at QPR, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Charlton as well as two stints with Millwall.
