Florent Malouda insists he can still play at the highest level following his departure from Chelsea.
The 32-year-old is a free agent after his spell at Stamford Bridge came to end after six years.
Malouda was frozen out in his final 12 months at Chelsea, failing to make a single first-team appearance since the Champions League final in May 2012.
But, despite the low-key end to his sojourn in west London, Malouda feels his happy times with Chelsea give him a good chance of securing a new contract elsewhere, with reports linking him with a move to Napoli or a return to Lyon.
"I had great memories from Chelsea, winning the league and the cups," said Malouda.
"The past year has been difficult for me, but to be honest the positive has been much better than the negative. I enjoyed good times at Chelsea with some great people at the club.
"I will make a choice on my next destination in a couple of weeks, there is some interest which means there are people still interested in me that believe in my football talent. I still have what it takes to play at the top level."
