Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue hopes to leave the club this summer in search of European football.
The 24-year-old has been with the club for his whole career, making his debut in the 2007-08 season and racking up over 150 appearances.
The France international has been linked with Premier League duo Arsenal and Tottenham as well as the likes of Paris St Germain and AC Milan, though coach Alain Casanova is hopeful he will stay with the Tefece.
"If he wants to keep me, that is good," Capoue told L'Equipe.
"That says that he counts on me, that he is happy with me.
"But it is football. I feel it is the moment to leave, to play in big competitions."
Capoue is currently in Montevideo with the national team and insists nothing will be decided until after their friendlies against Uruguay tomorrow and Brazil in Porto Alegre on Sunday.
"Right now, I am with the national team and I continue to represent TFC," he said. "We will talk about it again after June 10."
