Salomon Kalou has insisted he is in no rush to leave Lille and expects to see out his long-term contract with the Ligue 1 club.

Reports have claimed that Lille could be prepared to sell Kalou in the summer as they would be struggling to pay his salary if they do not qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

The speculation suggests he could return to the Premier League, with Everton, Sunderland and Newcastle United all mentioned as possible destinations.

The Ivory Coast international only joined Lille from Chelsea in July and he made a slow start to life in France, but he has been performing well recently and knows nothing of rumours that he could be let go.

"I have a contract until 2016, so I am not in a hurry to leave here to be honest and the club is moving forward and also doing well at the moment," he said.

"We are four points away from Lyon (in the third Champions League qualifying spot), and unless Lille accept a bid from another club, I will be here until 2016."
