Graham Barrow and John Carver have been punished by the Football Association for their row during Wigan's victory over Newcastle this month.

Wigan coach Barrow and Newcastle's assistant manager Carver clashed at half-time in a spat sparked by Callum McManaman's now-infamous challenge on Massadio Haidara.

Both were handed misconduct charges by the FA in the days after the game, and the verdicts are now in.

Barrow has been fined £1,000 and told to serve a one-match touchline ban, while Carver was fined and warned as to his future conduct.
