Bristol City midfielder Paul Anderson may be out of action for a lengthy spell after injuring his knee in the 2-1 defeat to Wolves on Saturday.
Anderson, who returned to the starting line-up at Molineux after illness, received lengthy treatment before limping off just 15 minutes into the game following a tackle from Jack Robinson.
And Robins manager Sean O'Driscoll admits the player could join Jon Stead, Ryan Taylor and Richard Foster on the long-term injury list at Aston Gate.
Anderson's injury is another blow for the Robins, who are bottom of the table with eight matches remaining.
O'Driscoll said: "He is not on crutches, which is good, but he cannot put weight through his knee at the minute.
"It is a bang rather than a twist, but we will have to wait and see. We will get him X-rayed and hope there is no crack in there.
"I'm disappointed for Paul. For him to come back into the team and for us to then lose him early doors was not great."
