Demba Ba is happy to fight for his place at Chelsea, but has warned he 'won't let anyone walk all over me'.
The 27-year-old Senegal international has failed to hold down a regular role in Rafa Benitez's starting XI since joining the Stamford Bridge club in January from Newcastle.
But Ba is determined to force his way into the manager's plans, and is not worried by the potential for another striker to be signed in the summer to join him and £50million man Fernando Torres.
He told radio station RMC: "I am at one of the biggest clubs in Europe and, each year, they're going to bring in a forward.
"But that is part of football and that is what makes me a better player if you go about things the right way.
"I am always working hard and I know that I can achieve great things. If they buy a new striker, it'll help me improve. But I won't let anybody walk all over me."
