St Etienne have announced the signing of Paris St Germain midfielder Mathieu Bodmer on loan until the end of the season.
The move comes following an injury-hit campaign for the 30-year-old, who has made just four league appearances for PSG this term.
He made his name at Lille and then spent three years at St Etienne's bitter rivals Lyon, winning a league and cup double in 2008, before joining PSG in 2010.
Bodmer is the third PSG midfielder to be loaned out on the same day that saw David Beckham join the capital club on a deal until the end of the season.
Youngster Adrien Rabiot was allowed to join Toulouse, while Malian international Mohamed Sissoko moved to Fiorentina.
St Etienne currently sit seventh in Ligue 1 and are through to the final of the League Cup, where they will face Rennes in April.
