Fernando Llorente has thanked Athletic Bilbao and expressed his excitement about joining Juventus after a deal was agreed to take him to Italy in the summer.
Juventus confirmed on Thursday that Spain striker Llorente would be arriving on a four-year deal at the end of the season when his contract with Bilbao expires.
Llorente has had eight successful years with Bilbao and appreciates the support he has received from the club and the fans, but he is now looking forward to linking up with Juve.
A statement on Llorente's own official website said: "The player would like to thank his club, Athletic, and the supporters, for all those years where he has achieved great sporting success
"Furthermore, the player recognises that he has fulfilled a dream by signing for one of the best clubs in the world.
"He also shows his gratitude to Juventus for making things easy and for their interest in finalising this agreement."
