Gremio have announced that they have completed the signing of Eduardo Vargas from Napoli.
Sao Paulo had shown late interest in the winger, who had also been linked with Arsenal, but Gremio have now announced the deal on their official site.
The signing is reported to be a 12-month loan deal at a cost of £1.6million.
"Eduardo Vargas will wear the blue, white and black of Gremio," the site announced.
"Vargas will leave Italy and will arrive at Porto Alegre tomorrow.
"After being welcomed at the airport by the supporters, he will officially be unveiled at the Olympic Stadium."
