Hibernian remain hopeful that they can convince Wolves to extend Leigh Griffiths' loan spell at Easter Road.
The striker's current agreement is due to come to an end after Saturday's home date with Dundee.
It remains to be seen what Wolves have planned for him at that point, with Griffiths having recently returned to Molineux to hold talks with new boss Dean Saunders.
Hibs are hoping that Saunders will allow the 22-year-old to see out the season in Scotland, with his goals having been crucial to their cause this term.
They face an anxious wait before receiving a decision from Wolves, but boss Pat Fenlon admits the club are doing all they can to put a deal in place.
He said in the Daily Record: "We are still talking to try and come to an agreement that would suit both parties
"Hibs remain hopeful we can keep Leigh. Nothing is over the line yet."
