Sky Sports understands that Bournemouth have expressed an interest in Leyton Orient goalkeeper Ryan Allsop.
It is believed that a deal is in the process of being discussed, with the Cherries keen to get an agreement put in place during the January window.
They have turned their attention to Allsop after being impressed by his current form and undoubted potential.
The 20-year-old may still be learning his trade, but he has become a first-team regular at Orient this season.
A number of assured displays have drawn admiring glances from afar and Bournemouth are hoping they can add another proven shot-stopper to their League One promotion push.
