Sky Sports understands that Ivan Sproule is to leave Hibernian and secure a permanent switch to Ross County.
Sproule has been looking for a move after finding himself out of favour at Easter Road.
Hibs are prepared to let him leave, with the Northern Ireland international set to be out of contract at the end of the season.
Ross County are prepared to offer Sproule the games he craves, with the Scottish Premier League new boys determined to hold their own in the top flight.
Sproule would add vast experience to their ranks, with the 31-year-old having taken in two spells at Hibs and spent four years in England with Bristol City, Yeovil and Notts County.
