Ecuadorian international Jefferson Montero has offers to play in England, his agent has claimed.
Montero is currently with Mexican outfit Monarcas Morelia - who he joined in the summer following a three-year stint in Spain where he played for Villarreal, Levante and Real Betis.
The 23-year-old has caught the eye playing for Morelia and his agent now claims a number of sides want to bring him back to Europe.
"There have been two proposals from teams from European football, we are in conversations with the people of Morelia and European teams," Diego Herrera stated to Rumba Deportiva.
"In some moment of this week there could be an agreement for the financial part."
Herrera admitted a return to Spain was more likely than a switch to England.
"The proposals are from Spain and England. I think that Montero is closer to going to Spanish football than English."
