Stevan Jovetic insists he is happy at Fiorentina and has no interest in pushing for a move away from the club.

The highly-rated Montenegro international was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City or Juventus over the summer, but no move materialised.

The 22-year-old then began the season in fine form, notching six goals in 11 Serie A appearances before suffering a calf injury at the start of last month.

With the former Partizan youngster close to a first-team return rumours had again surfaced over a potential move away from the club in the upcoming January transfer window.

However, Jovetic, who has a contract at the club until 2016, has been quick to pour cold water on those reports and says he is happy to stay at La Viola.

"I'm fine here, I don't want to leave Fiorentina," he told RAI Sport. "Even in life you never know, but I have no other thoughts.

"My relationship with [Fiorentina's owner] the Della Valle family? It's very good, I was promised that we would strengthen and they have kept their word."
