Borussia Dortmund defender Marcel Schmelzer has confirmed he wants to stay with the Bundesliga champions and sign a new contract.
Schmelzer has been holding talks with Dortmund over an extension to his deal, which currently expires at the end of the 2013/14 season.
The Germany international is confident an agreement will be reached over a new deal and is enjoying playing for Jurgen Klopp's side.
"We will have an agreement in the coming weeks, I'm sure of that as I am very positive on the whole affair," Schmelzer told Sport-BILD weekly.
"I want to stay on at Borussia Dortmund.
"It's simply incredible what we have been achieving in the past seasons. I am enjoying it."
The 24-year-old progressed through Dortmund's reserve ranks into the first team and has also picked up nine caps for Germany.
