Edinson Cavani believes that his Napoli side are close to realising their dream of winning the Serie A title.
Napoli currently sit in second place in the table after Monday's 1-0 away victory against Cagliari, and have realistic hopes of winning their first Scudetto since 1990.
Striker Cavani has been key to the club's revival in recent seasons, and is once again the club's top scorer with eight league goals during the current campaign. The Uruguayan has spoken of his happiness at the club and belief that league success is an achievable goal.
"I came here to enter in the people's hearts and leave a mark on the history of the club," Cavani told Chi.
"This is a sensational period and for this reason I must thank my family. When I am on the pitch I want to win at all costs. The Scudetto? It isn't a far-off dream."
Cavani's team-mate Marek Hamsik believes the club's serene progress in the Europa League will assist the title assault.
"It was very important to reach the next round in the Europa League with a game to spare so we can better concentrate on the league," Hamsik said.
"I want four wins up to Christmas, starting obviously against Pescara; a game that is easy on paper."
