Eintracht Frankfurt will not allow Sebastian Rode to leave the club on the cheap in the January transfer window.
The highly rated Germany Under 21 international has been linked with moves to Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
But Frankfurt do not want to sell and would even be prepared to keep Rode until he was able to leave for free at the end of his contract in June 2014.
Frankfurt executive Heribert Bruchhagen told Kicker: "Sebastian Rode is staying, no matter what, even if this means he leaves on a free transfer at the end of the season."
He added: "Sebastian Rode is a very important part for our team. He will not be sold easily."
