Hibernian boss Pat Fenlon has confirmed he is considering a move to bring Kenny Miller back to Easter Road.

Miller is thought to be looking for a loan move from Vancouver Whitecaps as the MLS season has now finished for three months.

Fenlon might be in the market for striking reinforcements with Leigh Griffiths' loan spell from Wolves due to expire early in the New Year and the Hibs chief has refused to rule out a move for Scotland international Miller.

"It's been mentioned to me in the last few days but it's not something we've actively done anything about," admitted Fenlon.

"Is he available and does he want to come and play for us? You never know. He's a fantastic player and we look at all options to try and improve the team.

"We're actively looking at players in that position as we've known for a while that Leigh [Griffiths], in addition to Claros & McGivern might not be here after the middle of January. We need to have options in place in case he isn't.

"If Kenny's an option, then great. I don't know if we could afford him."
