Tottenham defender Steven Caulker admits he can think of nothing else but the possibility of beating Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

Caulker, who scored his first Spurs goal in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City before scoring on his England debut against Sweden on Wednesday, was part of an experimental side that lost 4-1 to Arsenal in the League Cup two years ago.

The centre-half gained a measure of revenge when he triumphed over Arsenal while on loan at Swansea last season, but he cannot wait to be part of a Premier League north London derby.

"It will be very surreal knowing that in the space of two years I will be playing them again in a Tottenham shirt in a league game," he told Spurs TV Online.

"That's what I have always wanted to do. Last year I beat Arsenal 3-2 when I was at Swansea. That was obviously a great moment and I hope we can do the same at the weekend."

"Going on loan has been crucial for me, especially the season at Swansea. We played in such a way that it improved my composure on the ball and it helped me learn how to play it out from the back."
