Slade almost took off Lisbie

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade says he was close to substituting Kevin Lisbie before the striker's winner against Shrewsbury.

Lisbie, back in the starting line-up after a hamstring injury, opened the scoring with a penalty and then headed in the decisive second to seal a 2-1 win two minutes from time. Slade said: "I'm so pleased for Kev on his comeback game that he's managed to score two vital goals for us. "He holds the ball up and he has a cleverness about him. He allows us to push up the field, he allows us to build up play. "He also got a bit of a knock on both his leg and his head early on. "We were having to monitor him and there was a temptation to take him off late on, but I'm glad I decided to keep him on."
