Cardiff City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson believes team-mate Heider Helguson can help fire the club to promotion this season.
Helguson's eighth goal of the season put Cardiff into the lead as they beat fellow promotion hopefuls Hull City 2-1 on Saturday.
The striker won the Championship title with QPR in 2011 and Gunnarsson is hoping he can help Cardiff to achieve the same this season.
He said: "Heidar is an important player for us. He played a big part in getting QPR up. He scored a lot of goals there and knows how to get a team up the league. Hopefully he will help us do that this year."
Gunnarsson also praised his team-mate's bravery for the opening goal which left him needing treatment off the pitch.
He added: "You're not going to see anyone else go for a header like that, but Heidar is going to put his head in for the team and get a goal. He's a brave player and is good to have in the team.
"His nose was bleeding but he wasn't going to come off - there was no chance of that. He has a lot of experience and we need players like that in this league."
