Hartlepool extend Noble stay

Hartlepool have extended the loan of Sunderland striker Ryan Noble, keeping him at the club for a second month.

Noble joined Pools at the start of October and has made eight appearances for the struggling League One club, scoring once. His loan deal expired following Saturday's FA Cup defeat against Chesterfield but caretaker boss Micky Barron has moved to extend the deal and he can now be involved against Tranmere on Wednesday. The 21-year-old is in his second loan spell with the League One strugglers, having spent two months with them at the end of last season.
