Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan is urging his team-mates to gain promotion at the first time of asking.
Last season's player of the year, Bogdan has been highly praised since ousting Trotters legend Jussi Jaaskelainen, and the Hungarian is keen to turn their form around and kick on to promotion.
Despite being one of the pre-season favourites to bounce straight back up, the Wanderers have been inconsistent and currently sit 17th in the Championship.
However, since the appointment of Dougie Freedman as new manager, their form has improved, having beaten league leaders Cardiff and drawn to early pace-setters Leicester, form which Bogdan hopes continues.
"I don't know the reason as to why we are so inconsistent, but we have to finish strongly if we want to get back to the Premier League," Bogdan told Nemzeti Sport.
"As a former Premier League team maybe we are the team to beat for the others.
"We have to change something and all I can say after beating the league leaders Cardiff is that I hope we can carry on this way.
"Our aim is the top flight, our place is with the best teams. It is important for us to gain promotion immediately.
"We need more concentration in defence as well as attack. According to the stats we create the most chances but it can't be seen in our results."
