Dundee defender Brian Easton faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Easton picked up the problem during last weekend's defeat at Aberdeen and he faces up to two months on the sidelines.
Dundee boss Barry Smith admitted it was a major blow to lose Easton after losing Mark Kerr until the New Year with a knee injury.
"Brian will be out for six to eight weeks as he has a hamstring tear," Smith told the Daily Record.
"I'll have to change things about at the back again.
"We just have to get on with things and maybe we'll eventually get a time when I can put out the same team week in, week out."
