Sky Sports understands Birmingham defender Jack Deaman is a loan target for a number of League One and Two clubs.
Deaman, who joined Blues in the summer of 2011, has yet to make a first-team appearance and is seen as one for the future at St Andrew's.
Birmingham boss Lee Clark has made Deaman available for loan as he feels he will be best served getting some valuable first-team experience under his belt.
The 19-year-old centre-back, who can also play at right-back, has been a regular in the Birmingham Under-21 side this season.
Scouts from several League One and League Two clubs have been keeping tabs on Deaman and they are thought to have watched him in this week's U21 clash with Sheffield United.
