Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed that striker Mario Gomez will soon be available for selection.

The Germany international has been out for the past three months because of a surgery to his left ankle.

However, the 27-year-old will return to training with the rest of the Bayern squad on Saturday and will resume competitive football soon.

"Mario Gomez is looking good," said Heynckes. "We'll bring him into team training in doses."
