Stoke City manager Tony Pulis admits he would be happy to send forward Cameron Jerome out on loan.

The 26-year-old has not played for the Potters since the start of September, and has been restricted to four appearances this term.

Championship club Blackburn have been linked with taking Jerome to Ewood Park on a short-term deal.

And while Pulis believes the player would benefit from a move, the Stoke boss admits nothing is likely to happen until Blackburn appoint a successor to Steve Kean.

"It would be good for Cameron. He's a player that needs game time," Pulis said. "It would be a three-month loan with a recall available after 28 days.

"But it's a bit awkward as Rovers don't have a manager at the moment."

Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that Jerome was set for a loan move to the Championship.
