Sky Sports understands a host of Premier League clubs are tracking Real Mallorca hot-shot Tomer Hemed.

Hemed has enjoyed a superb start to the season for club and country, netting six goals in eight Primera Liga games this term as well as five goals in his last two Euro 2012 qualifying games for Israel.

The 25-year-old's form has not gone unnoticed among Europe's top clubs with sides weighing up a move for the powerful forward when the transfer window reopens in January.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Hemed with Brendan Rodgers in the market for a new striker as he looks to bolster his side's attacking options at Anfield.

Hemed's agent, Max Meltzer, has confirmed a number of Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in the prolific forward, but that Hemed is ignoring the speculation to focus on scoring more goals for Mallorca.

"Tomer is in exceptional form in La Liga and for his national team and naturally several Premier League clubs are tracking him," Meltzer told skysports.com.

"One or two clubs may be disappointed they didn't go all out in the summer to get him as his value continues to increase.

"He is a top professional, focused on his role at Real Mallorca and he won't be distracted by the speculation.

"If and when he has any decisions to make he will make them at that point."
