Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is pleased to see his side demonstrating the never-say-die attitude usually associated with rivals Manchester United.
Edin Dzeko netted a stoppage-time winner - his second goal of the afternoon - after coming off the bench for 10-man City at West Brom on Saturday.
The last-gasp effort allowed City to snatch a 2-1 victory to keep them flying high in the Premier League table.
Lescott is pleased to see Roberto Mancini's men playing right up to the final whistle as they bid to defend their title this season.
He said: "If we can take something from our neighbours and use it to benefit us, then great.
"We showed a different side to us against Albion - we never know when we are beaten.
"It was a side that not many people recognise and even after losing a man we didn't give up.
"Everyone knows we are a good footballing side. But when we need to dig in and be together we can do that. We showed that."
