Celtic boss Neil Lennon is waiting on the fitness of Scott Brown and James Forrest ahead of the clash with Barcelona.
Celtic captain Brown, 27, was substituted at half time in Scotland's World Cup qualifier against Wales due to a recurrence of a hip problem and will almost certainly miss this weekend's clash with St Mirren.
Forrest, 21, missed both of Scotland's qualifiers due to injury but Lennon is hoping he will have both players fit to face Barca in their vital UEFA Champions League group stage match.
Celtic could also be missing Kris Commons for this weekend's clash with St Mirren, after the winger complained of a hamstring problem he picked up playing for his country.
"James did his groin in training with the Scotland squad and Scott, as you know, has this on-going problem." said Lennon.
"I felt he was playing very well against Wales but obviously he couldn't continue after half-time so we are assessing him as we go along.
"We are hoping (he will be fit for Barca), this weekend may be too soon for them but they might have a chance for Tuesday.
"We are still waiting on Georgios Samaras, Emilio Izaguirre, Miku and Victor Wanyama to return (from international duty) but we are hoping to see them later on today or tomorrow but we have no reports of any knocks or niggles."
