Bristol City's young defender Joe Bryan has been rewarded with a new contract after impressing manager Derek McInnes.
The 19-year-old has forced his way into the first-team this season and McInnes hopes he can emerge as a regular for the Robins after extending his stay until the summer of 2015.
"I'm delighted we've managed to secure another young talent to an extended deal," McInnes told the club's website.
"Joe has worked very hard and shown us enough talent to earn this contract and hopefully it gives him the stability to establish himself at first team level.
"He always wants to improve, ask questions and listens intently to your answers.
"He has an appetite to be the best he can be, and with the right guidance and development he can have a very promising future with Bristol City.
"I'm delighted he has shown the same commitment in signing the deal that we have shown in him. The hard work has to continue for Joe now, and he is well aware of that."
Bryan said: "As soon as the manager said he'd like to give me a new deal it was a very easy decision; I was delighted.
"I always felt if called upon I could do a job for the club and it's my ultimate aim to command a regular place."
