Wales defender Adam Matthews is in line for a return to action in tonight's World Cup qualifier against Croatia.

The Celtic full-back missed Friday's 2-1 Group A victory over Scotland in Cardiff due to an ankle problem but will travel with the squad to Osijek and continue to be assessed.

Striker Craig Davies took part in only light training on Monday after complaining of some muscle tightness but is set for the green light come kick-off.

Manager Chris Coleman has no other fresh problems but will be forced into one change with midfielder Aaron Ramsey suspended, allowing Wolves' Dave Edwards to step in.

Defender James Collins is still serving a ban after his red card against Belgium last month but Coleman's side - fourth in the group with three points - should otherwise be unchanged.

Croatia have no new injuries or suspensions to worry about following their 2-1 win over Macedonia.

Everton's Nikica Jelavic and former Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric will be well-known dangermen for a side joint-top of the table on seven points.
