Jermaine Pennant: Winger is deemed surplus to requirements at Stoke City
Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant has revealed that he is set to leave the club on loan until January.
The 29-year-old said on Twitter on Friday morning that boss Tony Pulis has told him that he can depart the Potters in order to get more games.
Pennant, who joined Stoke in August 2010 initially on a loan deal, has made just two appearances in all competitions this season.
"The gaffa said I can go out on Loan to get some games! I was as shocked as much as some of you's will and I can promise we have not fell out," he said.
"Can't go premier league only can go abroad or championship and I'm only agreeing until jan so be gone for 2 months or so.
"Stokies ill keep you updated I'm not gonna lie I'm gutted like but I gotta play!!"
