Spanish striker Xisco is set to make his first appearance for Newcastle United in more than a year at Villa Park on Monday night.
The 26-year-old has been included in Willie Donachie's squad to face Aston Villa in the Professional Development League.
Xisco, who spent most of last season on loan at former club Deportivo La Coruna, cost Newcastle £5.7million at the end of the 2008 summer transfer window.
He is included in the Under-21 group as an overage player and is joined by the likes of James Tavernier, Mehdi Abeid, Haris Vuckic, Romain Amalfitano and Dan Gosling.
Xisco has made a total of nine Premier League appearances for the north east club, scoring once in a 2-1 defeat to Hull City in September 2008 at St James' Park.
