Sky Sports understands Leeds United defender Paul Connolly would be prepared to move either on loan or permanently.

Connolly is now back to full fitness after having a loan spell with Portsmouth cut short by a groin problem earlier in the season.

He is understood to be open to going out another temporary deal or leaving Leeds permanently on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old full-back moved to Elland Road from Derby County in the summer of 2010, having also had stints with Sheffield United and Plymouth Argyle earlier in his career.

He has gained a lot of experience in the Football League and is now looking for a fresh challenge.
