Dinamo Zagreb teenager Alen Halilovic has played down suggestions he is a target for Manchester United and Real Madrid, and also brushed off comparisons to Lionel Messi.
The 16-year-old made his first-team debut for Dinamo over the weekend against Hajduk Split and he is regarded as one of the best prospects to emerge from Croatian football in recent years.
His playing style has been likened to that of Barcelona star Messi, and reports have claimed that United and Spanish champions Real have been showing an interest.
However, Halilovic is in no rush to move on from Dinamo and expects his current club to give him the best opportunity to develop his career.
"I read in the newspapers that I look like Leo Messi when I play," Halilovic told Jutarnji List. "But I think the comparison with Messi is just too much.
"There is only one Messi. I admire him, he is a role model for many young players, but I don't know if anyone can be like him.
"Stories about Real Madrid and Manchester United? I don't give much thought about those kind of stories.
"Dinamo will decide what will happen to me, all I have to do is just try to develop as much as I can. Everything else doesn't matter right now."
