Leicester City striker Jermaine Beckford has agreed a loan move to Huddersfield Town.

The 28-year-old forward heads to the John Smith's Stadium until 29 December and could make his debut against Watford in the Championship on Saturday.

Beckford joined City from Everton a year ago and has made 49 appearances for the club, scoring 15 times.

Grayson told the club website: "Jermaine is a good footballer and he adds something different to the squad.

"The players we have at the squad all have different qualities and Jermaine is

a natural goalscorer - his record speaks for itself."

He will be ineligible for selection under the terms of the agreement when City travel to play Huddersfield in the Championship next Tuesday.
