Liverpool are sweating over injuries picked up by Daniel Agger and Fabio Borini in their defeat against Manchester United.
Danish defender Agger was stretchered off with suspected medial ligament damage sustained during a tangle of legs with Antonio Valencia in the build-up to United's winning penalty.
Former Roma striker Borini was replaced by Suso at half-time after picking up an ankle injury.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers admitted the injuries did not look good and that he is waiting to find out the full extent of the problems sustained by Agger and Borini.
"Fabio had a badly swollen ankle and was struggling to put any sort of force on the floor, so we'll assess that," said Rodgers. "It looked badly bruised at half-time.
"Daniel Agger we'll need to wait and see. It didn't look so good with his knee, and some of the medics were saying he may have a problem with his medial ligament, but we'll (have) to assess that over the next 24 hours and look at it again."
