Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is facing a spell on the sidelines after being injured in the 3-2 win over Spartak Moscow on Wednesday.
The Spain international suffered a foot injury and was replaced just 12 minutes into the match at the Nou Camp.
According to Barca's medical team, the injury he suffered will see him out of action for between "two to three weeks".
Pique's injury is a further blow for Barca following the earlier news that his central defensive partner Carles Puyol is also set to be out for up to six weeks with a knee injury.
Barca, who won their UEFA Champions League opener against Spartak despite trailing with just 19 minutes left, face Granada, Sevilla, Benfica and Real Madrid in the next month.
