Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas insists he has not been feeling under pressure during the opening weeks of the season and says he has a strong relationship with the club's chairman.
Villas-Boas got off to a less than stellar start at Spurs as the club began their Premier League campaign without a win in three games.
That run prompted questions over how long the Portuguese boss would last at White Hart Lane after he was sacked by Chelsea last season following just eight months in charge.
However, Spurs' 3-1 victory at top-flight newcomers Reading at the weekend eased the heat on Villas-Boas ahead of their UEFA Europa League opener against Lazio on Thursday.
The 34-year-old is adamant he does not feel under pressure and says he speaks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy daily over the club's progress.
"It is not true that in recent weeks I have felt the pressure of the club," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"On the contrary: I have a daily relationship with chairman Levy.
"We survey the development of our programmes in perfect harmony."
Asked by the Italian media ahead of Thursday's clash whether he would consider a career in Serie A, he added: "Now I feel great at Tottenham where I can work on a new project."
