Shakhtar Donetsk star Willian is aiming to clinch a move to one of Europe's leading clubs by impressing in the UEFA Champions League.

The Brazil international claims Tottenham and Chelsea have both had big-money offers recently turned down for his services by the Ukrainian club's hierarchy.

And the attacking midfielder, 24, has the perfect opportunity to impress Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich with Shakhtar drawn alongside the Blues in Group E of Europe' elite club competition.

"I had offers from Chelsea and Tottenham," Willian told Radio Estadao ESPN. "Tottenham's offer was bigger than Chelsea's - 30million euros - but [Shakhtar's] president turned it down.

"I was hoping I could move to one of those clubs. I want to play in one of those places where there is more visibility, but unfortunately it didn't happen.

"Now it's time to care about the Champions League, impress and hope some clubs get interested."
