Championship side Millwall have signed New Zealand striker Chris Wood on a two-month loan from West Bromwich Albion.

The 20-year-old has agreed to move to the Den until November 20, although Albion can recall him after the first 28 days.

Wood, who scored a hat-trick against the Lions during a loan spell with Birmingham last season, is expected to be named in Kenny Jackett's squad for Tuesday night's home clash against Cardiff City.

"I'm not in the first-team picture at West Brom, so I'm dying to start playing regular first-team football again," he told Millwall's official website.

"In January I will give some thought to my longer-term future, but for now I'm just looking forward to playing for Millwall and hopefully scoring some goals."

Wood has also had temporary spells away from The Hawthorns at Barnsley, Brighton and Bristol City in recent seasons.
