Colombian heading back across the Atlantic

Sky Sports understands Colombia international goalkeeper David Gonzalez is heading to America for talks with a number of MLS clubs. The former Manchester City keeper is a free agent after ending a short stint with Barnsley. He joined the Tykes in August to cover for injured No.1 Luke Steele and suspended understudy Ben Alnwick. Gonzalez, who has also featured for Leeds, Brighton and Aberdeen since moving to Britain in 2009, is now heading back across the Atlantic. The 30-year-old is now set for talks with a number of clubs, although Sky Sports understands FC Dallas are leading the chase for his services.
