Hull City boss Steve Bruce insists he has not made a bid to sign Sunderland striker Frazier Campbell.
Bruce is a confirmed fan of the England cap, who is seemingly down the pecking order at the Stadium of Light under Martin O'Neill.
Reports had claimed that Hull were close to finalising a loan move for the 24-year-old.
But whilst not denying an interest, Bruce insists that as far as he knows Campbell is not available.
"As far as I am aware, Fraizer is not available to loan at present," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.
"If he was available, of course we would ask the question, but at this time, that's not the case."
